street portraits . andre {this little light of mine}

it has been much too long since i’ve added anything to this project. today was the day.
i will admit, not planned, but i like how it turned out to be.
meet andre. he is a giant. his voice, his smile, his soul and yes, his hair.
i met him earlier this year at findlay market. easy to see now, but how i missed
him before, i’m not sure. i first heard his voice and followed it straight to him.
he smiled at me, he sang for me. a follower of god, he sings for all.
i knew i met someone i wanted to see and hear again.
i also knew i was going to make a portrait of this wonderful man.
today was that day.
