can you ever take too many pictures? well, the real answer is ‘no’ but i may have crossed over with this session of little miss princess ellie. i’m not even going to say how many i took, all i will say is i’m glad i am not the one choosing! but, really…can you blame me?
that cherub face, red hair, curls, huge expressive eyes, a sweet little mouth…and full of personality…let me tell you!
we started out in my backyard and i was so happy to see a little one playing around the pink playhouse we had built for our oldest daughter when she was 3 years old.
between all three of our girls, this playhouse has seen many years of tea parties, camp outs, redecoratings, club meetings….and it was even reincarnated into ‘le coup’ when we decided that we ‘needed’ chickens in our lives!!!! but today it was simply a little pink house for a sweet little girl to play around on.
and, oh yes, audrey came along to keep ellie company.
i had a few surprises for ellie today… the first had orange and yellow swirls and was really really sweet! i think she likey!
this french love seat i brought back home with me one year from fla…along with several other pieces i totally snagged at an alley tag sale…all of it tied to the top of my suv…believe me when i say…the beverly hillbillies! i used this for jana’s shoot a couple days before and i kinda liked it outside, so i left it there;)
plus, ellie liked it too.
we were tiring of my backyard, so a new adventure was needed…we left for one of my favorite parks…ault park…with red balloons of course!
ok..now it gets serious…we are looking for garden fairies. we know they are here and they are hiding. we will not stop looking, either, until we find them.
and by the way, you have to be really really quiet!
we looked and looked.
and we finally found her!!
what is it about children that they can find pure joy in the simplest of things…
just when we thought we were finished, miss ellie found a huge second wind! so on we went….
ellie loves beauty and the beast and decided her mommy was the princess who needed to be kissed this time….just so.
and to end it all, what is better than a ride on your daddy’s shoulders!
would you believe me if i said there were more….but i think we’ll end our story here. ellie, you were indeed a princess and thank you so much for letting me run around with you today and hopefully save for your mom and dad a little bit of your magic!
xoxo

lisabisa - G – I pulled up your blog on my iPhone and showed Nita the peeks … she loves the one of us holding hands in front of the field with our dresses blowing. She also loves the shoes in the hayloft! I loved what you wrote too … it was very touching. xoxoxox
