i try to be ‘artful’ with every project i do, but it’s different when it’s only for yourself. when there are no checks and balances for the intended
end use, just your own self indulgence which, incidentally, comes back to feed the checks and balances later. funny how that works.
it never ceases to amaze me the natural artful pieces of this and that that live all around us. the details of items we look at and pass by every day,
not ever thinking about how perfectly beautiful something is that’s just there. ok, maybe someone put it there, but it’s there for you to see,
smell, touch, enjoy. take time to stop and notice.
roaming around some newly discovered and now favorite stops along high street in columbus with pehgi and nora,
minds and eyes wide open, our goal was just that.
all these things were just there, waiting for us in the perfect place and time. we all saw many of the same things,
but what makes something call out to you and not another? why do two people see the same things, but not really?
is this why there can be many of us doing the same thing, but it’s never the same and that’s the beauty of it? yes.
we all have our own unique take on what we see around us and how we interpret it back to ourselves, others and the world.
as far as photography goes, this is the only place to start and never leave from at the same time.
take time to discover your own voice. it can never be duplicated because there is only one you.
pretty cool in my book.

Nat - Wow Gina, this place is awesome. The pictures look great! I can’t wait to go there!
Suzi West - Gina,
These are fantastic. You have an exceptionally artful eye. I believe we have one of the most unique collections of curiosities in the Midwest, but you have captured them in such a way that I would proudly exclaim “top 10 in the nation.” Thank you for lending your lovely view and sharing it. As you may have acknowledged, our mission is simply TO INSPIRE. You my friend, have given me great inspiration and that is worth a zillion. I look forward to so much more captured by your lens.
Best, Suzi West
