a little trip {saugatuck}

last week, before school started back up, we took a quick trip to saugatuck, michigan.
this was our first visit to this area and only a 5 hour car ride from cincinnati.
kind of like the drive to chicago, but on the other side of the lake.
we stayed at a way cool very hip renovated motel named
the pines motor lodge…check it out if you’re headed up that way.
did i mention it was way cool!

about half way down this very steep, very long dune to the water
did it hit us that our way back…
yes…was the same way we came…
only…up.

why did i think there wouldn’t be anyone here?

sherman’s…that’s the ‘s’ in sb
well, of course we had to stop in.
