i was invited to photograph a fun little party earlier this week. more specifically, a fun fairy/music/birthday party
put together by two creative mama’s…april of april eight and margot of margot madison creative (who, by the way,
has just won ‘cincinnati’s best’ party planning…oh yes.)

now…let me talk to you about this beautifully, soulfully styled party and why, in my opinion,
it was as wonderful as it was.
yes, there were pretty props/styled elements made by both margot and april
…but what i also hope you see is the celebration, joy, happiness, the sense of place
and realness of the afternoon. can you hear the laughter, the giggles, the music, the singing…
ultimately, that’s what it’s about, right? the people.
and what was so different about this themed party? it was not overkill, it was simple, artful, beautiful, fun and real.
april and margot are offering their creative eyes and minds up for you and your celebration.
if you like what you see below…you can have it too.
you will get april and her lovely voice/music of april eight, her sweet little mandolin,
and the best looking handmade giant mushroom i’ve ever seen!
you will get margot and all her lovely graphic artsiness to take care of all the paper goodness and then some.
together you will get their art-filled minds and items already made plus some to make.
you can read more about the details of this party on margot’s blog…be sure to settle
in with your favorite cuppa something good, you’ll be there a while with all the goodness
that she has to share.
